Privacy policy
Last updated 2 November 2026
This policy explains how Allcoast Power Steering & Mechanical (“the workshop”) handles personal information collected through allcoastpowersteering.com.au.
What is collected
When you send a booking request, the workshop receives the details you enter: your name and phone number, and optionally your email address, business name, vehicle make, model, year and registration, kilometres, the service you are interested in, symptoms you describe, a preferred date and any other notes.
How it is used
Your details are used to respond to your request, confirm availability, discuss the work and carry out any job you go ahead with. They are not sold, and they are not used for marketing unless you agree to it separately.
How it is sent and stored
The website and online booking page use BluePeek Forms to store your request and send it to the workshop. BluePeek, which operates the website and booking service, receives a copy and can access the request in its management system to support the workshop. Hosting, database and email providers process the information to run these services. Requests are also kept in the workshop's email and business records.
If your online booking is confirmed through Google Calendar, the appointment includes your contact details, vehicle, requested service, symptoms and notes. Google processes that information and sends an appointment invitation to the email address you provide. Google's privacy policy applies to its calendar service.
Analytics and third parties
The website does not send your name, phone number, email address or notes to any analytics service. The map is provided by Google and loads only if you choose to show it; Google's own privacy policy applies when it does. The hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site.
Access and correction
You can ask to see or correct the personal information the workshop holds about you, or ask questions about this policy, by calling (07) 5522 1344 or emailing admin@allcoastpowersteering.com.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, contact the workshop first. If it is not resolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
